Emilka Radlinska

Emilka is drawn to the exquisite purity and translucency of porcelain and bone china. She creates a wide range of work, including fine porcelain brooches, delicate bone china pendants, quirky wall tiles, translucent pierced candle holders and functional domestic ware. Emilka graduated from the Australian National University in Canberra, Australia in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) degree in ceramics. She practiced professionally and taught ceramics in Australia for a few years before moving to Ohio in the USA, where she worked as a studio assistant to the sculptor Beth Cavener Stichter. In 2006 Emilka came to live in Scotland. She now practices from her space at the Glasgow Ceramics Studio.
